Even the river
flows across rocky rapids
crashes //churning white
thunders over rocky falls
Smooth flow continues
How many lifetimes
we have stayed in river’s flow
carrying life’s mud
eroding jagged edges
Then we drop it all
In the estuary of life

Well imaged and crafted. We are part of the flow…but there is a price.

Rivers, like the one you photographed, offer a sanctuary for the busyness of life and a beautiful metaphor for life. Lovely work, Dwight.

Beautiful Dwight! I hope your doing okay over there! I am still slowly going back tp my normal daily routine. Just still not really… into writing much these days. 2 weeks since my grandma passed away.. I am still slowly copping.

Thank you very much. We are doing very well. It takes a while to work through grief. Perhaps you could write some posts about your grandma! They say writing can be therapeutic!
