Sculptures of Heidelberg Castle

There are so many things to see when you are a tourist visiting an old castle for the first time. One of them is all the magnificent sculptors standing high on the Heidelberg Castle walls. Walking through on a guided tour it is easy to miss all the beautiful detail that was put into them when the castle was build many years ago. Take a look and appreciate that these were all made without the help of modern tools!

We visited Heidelberg Castle, in Germany, this past week. What a fantastic place to see.

Carved stones still remain
Hundreds of summers  have not
ruined its mystique
