Say it Now

‘This being human

is saying, “I love you!”

Before it’s too late…

Realizing that sharing

our love is being human

Today at d’Verse, Kim asked us to use a line from Rumi’ poem Guest House. We are to start out with, “This being human is…” and write a poem expressing what it means to be human.

  1. Love the flower and love the reminder about what is most important. I also love the comments your post inspired (“sometimes tomorrow never comes” might be another profound jumping off point for a new poem…)

    • Thank you Will for your comment. I am glad you enjoyed this reminder. We never know about tomorrow, so we have to make the best of today. Reminds me of Garth Brook’s song… If tomorrow never comes….
