Thank you for the photos, Dwight. I have never been to Myrtle Beach, but it looks very inviting! I have been to Ocean View, Virginia Beach, The Outer Banks, Okracoke Island, and many Florida Beaches. How did I miss Myrtle Beach? ❤ Great haiku! Relatable. All the Best!

Well it is never too late to take a trip north!! It is a beautiful beach, but the town itself is quite grown up with high rise hotels and condos. We like to go in the off season when it is cooler. Thanks for you kind comments!.

Our local beaches are open but we have so many there’s plenty of space for all especially now that school’s back in.

Most of the 16 plus beaches from here are located between 10 and 20 minutes from our home. We haven’t been to all of them; still yet to do that but we go often but not during high tourist times. We’re probably due for another beach trip. The last one we went too was Rainbow Beach which lives up to it’s name with thousands of different coloured pebbles coming in with the tide.

I was amazed by how warm the water was and that I could ride a bike on the sand, near the surf. Fantastic trip!

I’ve never been to beach, last year I got to go for my first time to Tybee Island, here I am just turned 44. I loved it. Only stayed one day but I got to say I’ve been to the beach.
