Creativity and imagination always make me smile. When I pulled into my parking space at the mall, I saw this sweet little beauty smiling back at me. I tried to imagine the person who puts eyelashes on their car headlights. What a unique idea! Do you give names to your car?

I would definitely be the person to put eyelashes and lady bug spots on my car!

Jeep actually make a Jeep variant that looks like it has eyes and evil teeth. One of our cars is called “Squanto,” an American Indian and bay in Mass.

Great picture and a good idea. My husband and I both purchased Chevy Sparks a year before we retired. They get 40 miles to the gallon. They would look sharp with some eyelashes.

I would name this car “Darling.” Every time the owner got into it, they could say “hello darling.” Now, I have a two door Mini Cooper. I call it “Buddy.” I love this car! It’s little, powerful, and zippy!

My little car is sheer delightful fun every time I drive it. Afterwards I always give it a pat and say “thank you Buddy.” Silly, but I thank everything I own! 😂 thank you for the fun post and interaction!

😊 I would say yes, in abundance. Isn’t that how we were all originally created to be… and are re-remembering in each moment? 😁 although some do struggle with that memory quite a bit!! 😂 LOL.

I would do that! But probably only if I wanted to tell Bob never to drive my car!

I like your poem in tribute to the cute little car! We don’t name our cars. A friend of my brother named my first car VolksPig.

We don’t name ours either. What an odd name for a car!!

Cute idea! We name our cars. We had a 1964 Chevy Impala and named her Sally Sue! We currently have a 1964 Galaxie and her name is Blu. Our Mercedes is named Sparkle. Silliness is fun! Happy New Year! 🎊 🎉

How fun is that! I love it! We had a 64 Chevy Belaire when we first got married! No name for that one. I love your car names. Happy New Year!

I feel like this car needs to be in a Maybelline ad. Although L’Oreal got in trouble several years back for not disclosing that the model was wearing fake lashes in a mascara ad. I guess it would be hard to argue that the lashes on those headlights are really natural.

JHa ha… no they are not natural for sure, but they do make a statement! Thanks for sharing in the conversation. Maybe we should just call it Maybelline!! That sounds like a great name for it!

You’ve engendered some terrific conversation. I once had a car that others named. It was a ’76 Cutlass that was called the Beast or the Millennium Falcon. Happy New Year!

Those Olds Cutlasses were real classics. Did yours have the “rocket engine” in it. What a contrast with the Falcon! Glad you enjoyed the post and shared in the conversation. It has been a lot of fun!

It had eight cylinders, but then many cars did back then. Seems impossibly powerful, now. Yes, all the talk about car names is fun to read!

HA! Sweet car! Sweet haiku! 🙂
We’ve never names any of our cars…but if so I’d want to call them encouraging names like “Reliable” or “Go Getter” or “Lucky”…HA! 🙂
HUGS!!! 🙂
