Aren’t the bumble bees difficult to capture so up close? They have this habit of leaving the flower suddenly and buzzing towards you, when you are so intent with focusing 🙂 and that buzzing sound near your ears is scary…
Thank you Deb! This is when it helps to have a long lens. I shoot with a 200mm lens. I planted these right outside my kitchen window. I took these shots through the window! Nor worries about getting buzzed!
You are so right there Dwight. Since buying the new mobile I have been super lazy and been using only the mobile for all photography, especially the macros. Few days back I tried something similar with the mobile – with near disastrous results. I need to shake off my laziness and pull out the camera kit.

My flowers struggled this year for some reason from a series of worms and bug attacks. I have to reaccess what happened…maybe COVID-19??? 😉

HaHa. I started using a mix of neem oil and a little dish soap and spray the ground and and lightly spray the plants.
