I saw this cute little guy sitting on my bird feeder a couple of weeks ago. He’s a young one with only half his molting feathers. Rather scruffy and hot it seems. Then again, I think we would all look a bit scruffy in this extreme summer heat!

Aw, he is a cute fellow! I hope he is finding enough water to drink and bathe in.
We must drink and bathe, too, on these hot days! Ooh! Maybe having a root beer in a pool would count. Ha! 😉 Now I gotta’ go find a pool and a root beer! 😀 😛
High of 98 here today (way above our average summer highs) with 16% humidity. We desperately need rain. Had a little yesterday.

It is better here today.. in the mid eighties. I have a plate of water for him. He likes to splash in it. He is a real cutie!
