This poem evolved from the poem I posted yesterday. An added inspiration!
Imagination… a kaleidoscope of the soul
Drawn from the depths of body soul and spirit
Living colors flowing forth
in music, painting, and written word;
Reshaping the matter of the mind
Like sourdough starter in the bread
Rising to become delectable morsels
for others to enjoy and be inspired

“A kaleidoscope of the soul.” I like that notion of the soul as a kaleidoscope!

Sour dough was an interesting metaphor to use in your poem. I love that you poem yesterday inspired this one.

Thank you so much! I am always looking for the sparks that ignite my imagination and eventually develop in to a poem.

Sour dough is the idea that most inspiration develops from the inspiration of others. All we read or saw or heard influences our inspiration.
