Sweet bluebird // a magical beauty
Perched on the rod outside my window.
Tiny sharp talons gripped tightly.
Seeing her reflection on the surface;
She flung herself at the image;
Thinking it to be another female.
This is her territory…
Guarded fiercely at all cost!

We do that as humans always feeling threathened not knowing we are looking at ourselves. Maybe this is a good time for reflection on our territorial instincts. (Even though we have to keep our social distance)
Thanks for dropping by to read mine

She is fine! It happens on occasion with the sky gets overcast and the tinted windows turn into mirrors. Thank you Linda.

A beautiful image Dwight, windows are so unnatural to birds, I hope she was OK!
