Outside my kitchen window a sunflower keeps blooming
Not worried in the least about predicted frost.
Zinnias continue to bloom as well, overcoming mildew;
A great lesson for all… Bloom through to the end;
Frost is inevitable in our lives, but beauty can remain.

Perfect! Yes, we cannot control the frost, but we can enjoy the beauty – even in the midst of winter’s worst storms! Love that sunflower, Dwight. ❤

You have shown us great wisdom in this poem. Keep blooming for as long as you can. I went for a walk over the weekend and found a small of group of flowers still in bloom by the lake-shore. They were beautiful.

My mother loved zinnias for their staying power in the bouquets she liked to keep on the table. Thanks for conjuring pleasant memories.

I bought some flowers for my garden this spring but due to health issues never got around to planting them. They sit out in my yard and for some reason they are still blooming. My neighbors are now watching to see how long they last…lol Sadly, we might get snow this weekend.

Well you still got to enjoy them even up to the snow day!
