Withering winds sigh
Doves feel warm in the sunshine
Winter chill is on the way

Winter chill is here in s-w Montana and the doves are long gone. I miss them!

The doves stay around here all winter. They like my sunflower seeds. The love to sit in the willows and sun themselves and primp!

A very frosty morning here. – I think I’ve seen more birds at my feeders this week than most of October.
The buck only had two points! All by himself…

Brrr! It is a beautiful sunny day here. No frost yet to speak of. I finally pick off the rest of the my green tomatoes to ripen indoors. The birds love my sunflower feeder!

I only grew the mini tomatoes… picked them all off the day before. Moved my herbs into the back porch. It isn’t heated there but maybe they’ll live a little longer until I figure out how to use the dehydrator I picked up 😉
