We spent some time this week in Virginia with my son and family. Driving up through the mountains to the Shenandoah Valley is a beautiful ride. Their season is about three weeks behind North Carolina. The red bud trees and the pink and white dogwoods were all in bloom. This one was across the street from my son’s house.

I saw those flowers up close for the first time in the plant store. They are beautiful. The photos I got was the dry version so it was mostly yellow. Still beautiful. Nice shot, and poem:))
