      • What zoom level is that? I’ve been looking and I know I want more than x5 but is x20 too much? I don’t know that much about cameras. But I like taking photos. I’ll send you an email of a bird who was hamming it up. As I still can’t figure out how to get my own photos onto a post. I’m a tad dense in regards to computer speak.

      • You must be using a point and shoot camera. The one I use is a Nikon -200 and the lens is a 80 – 200 mm zoom. It is interchangeable on the camera with other lenses. I got mine used and it works very well. You can find them on ebay for a very reasonable price. To put photos on your blog, you click on the + in the upper right corner of your draft. Then click again on the page that comes up with photos you already used. That will take you to your photo file page in your computer. Find the photo you want to use in your personal file and double click and it will load on the previous word press photo page. If the photo you loaded has a little one in the bottom right corner just click insert and it will go into your blog draft. click on the picture and hit right arrow and then return to begin typing.

It is a little complicated at first but gets easier. :>)

      • I’ve copy and pasted your info into a folder that has other instructions about WP photo help. I’ll have to experiment. I do appreciate all the help I can get. While my hubby is a computer geek he’s not a blogger.

I actually have a Nikon Coolpix L3 digital camera with a X3 zoom. Which I also got at a garage sale. 😉

I do like some of the close up photos I take of flowers and bugs. I have some of my home birdies that were close to my window too.
