On this fifteenth anniversary of the 9-11 attack on the Twin Towers in New York City, we pause to remember the greatness that arose from the evil done to us by the Islamic terrorists. We have a choice to either remember the evil or remember the good. We will not forget the evil done to those innocent lives that were lost, but I believe we should remember the strength and fearlessness of those who laid down their live to save as many as they could from those burning buildings. Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

The Worst and the Best

Good and Evil combat in the spiritual arena

Every day competing for our souls

Seems that the greatest evil

Brings out the greatest good

The evil and destruction on that fateful day

Brought out Gods best to prove evil wrong

First Responders climbed those towers

Willingly giving their lives

Trying to save people they didn’t even know

When evil attempted to overwhelm us

It only showcased New York’s finest

Who will be remembered

Long after the names of those evil terrorists

Are long forgotten

“No greater love…

Than to lay down your life for another”   ~ Jesus
